Why did you
come to Linfield?
I visited
Linfield for a basketball camp in the sixth grade and I fell in love with the
campus. The Liberal Arts education was very appealing as well. Lastly, when I
visited again as a senior in high school and stayed with the cross country team
I was won over!
What is your
fondest memory thus far from your time at Linfield?
Going to
California for the Regional meet in 2011 is by far my favorite memory. It was a
quick trip but I really appreciated that time with the senior members of our
team before they graduated.
What is it
that you enjoy most about cross country?
I love the
companionship that cross country has brought me. Running with the girls on our
team is my favorite part of the day. I also am a big fan of the Sunday morning
long run…you feel so accomplished and the rest of campus is just waking up.

What words
of wisdom would you offer to a college-bound high school senior?
Make the most of your time with friends and family before leaving, and rest assured that when you start college in the fall some wonderful and exciting adventures await you. Get pumped and go in to college with an open mind and curious spirit!
